Summer 2009 Mission Team Plans:
We are beginning preliminary plans for a summer mission team/s for 2009. We are looking at several different options.
1. Return to build houses in Rio Bravo,
Mexico. (Team members are not required to have a Passport or Pass Card.)
2. Return to the Gulf Coast to assist with rebuilding.
3. Assist at Cookson Hills in Oklahoma.
(This is a United Methodist ministry near Lake Tenkiller, serving Native Americans through home repairs, etc.)
We would like to know which project you prefer going in the winter, spring, summer, or fall. If there is enough interest, we could serve in 2 locations. (This would be in addition to the normal Fall mission team to Henderson Settlement.) Please call (744-9970) or email Paul Burger at
