Word from the Pastor

Welcome to our online church. We hope that your visit to our site will bring you closer to God through this medium alone or by attending one or more of our events. Visitors to the church find a warm reception, a spiritual atmosphere, and a place to call home. We hope you will join us as we reach out in God's love to every one we meet.

Pastor’s Corner

I decided to fill up with gas this morning before going to breakfast. I needed some cash anyway. Often, I use the ATM at Presley’s. So, I got 8 or 9 gallons of gas at $3.48; a good deal, I thought. I went inside to get some money and something to drink. When I returned to my car, the owner of Presley’s was changing the price of gas sign outside. It was now $3.65! Boy, was I relieved.

However, as I shared my news with others, they were not as enthused. As I thought about how quickly things can change in this life, I began to consider how our Christian faith makes a difference in how we deal with the constant changes in our lives.

A few minutes later, I received an email that shared cardboard testimonies. On oneside was a thought before accepting Christ’s love. On the other side, a “Christian response.” Here are a few examples: “Shattered by my anger, Restored by His love”; “God Robber, God-led Giver”; “Lukewarm, On Fire!”’ “Christian Imposter, Experiencing God’s true love”; “Sideline Christian, Going to be a missionary.”

Gas prices will continue to fluctuate! However, with God’s help, we will realign our thinking to entertain God’s ways more often than not!

See Ya on Sundays and around…!

Blessings Always,
Guy E. Rendoff, Pastor
