The Sack Lunch program that has been a sister outreach program to the sloppy joe meal, will be coordinated by Paul and Janet Burger and possibly in the Fall by Toby Burger. Thank you Burger family!!!
Paul Burger is the overall coordinator of these programs.
ALSO…..The Leeker/Dillons Certificate sales : I have received word that there is a couple willing to take on this project. There are also two or three people who are willing to help on Sunday mornings if needed. The monies raised through the purchase of Leekers Merchandising Certificates and Dillons Gift Certificates continues to provide funds for mission activities in or through our church. The certificates are sold mainly following services on Sunday morning, but may be purchased at any time by contacting Nancy at
KUMC.
If you think you are interested in helping with these projects.
CHRISTMAS BASKET PROJECT
The Christmas Basket Committee, consisting of The United Methodist Church, The Kechi Fair Committee and Sunnydale 4-H Club will be preparing the baskets on Dec. 13 at 9 a.m., in the church basement.
We will be preparing for this starting in November. We are needing baskets and food that is appropriate for the baskets and especially names of deserving people that will benefit not only from the food but the visitation when they are delivered.
We will take cash donations also, to buy food. If you write a check, make it to Kechi UMC and put “Christmas Baskets” in the memo. Naomi Fultz
