Kechi UMC is located in
Kechi, Kansas. Kechi is a
small community on the
northern edge of Wichita.
Kechi, Kansas has a population
of about 1,500 and growing.
Since 1970, the community has
doubled in size every six
years. We are a unique
congregation; a majority of
our members live in Kechi,
Park City, and Bel Aire, while
the rest live in the greater
Wichita area. Regardless of
where you live, our church
family desires to share
God’s love with all people.
We are a Christ-centered,
mission-oriented, growing
church. Specifically, we take
mission trips to Kentucky and
Mexico as well as work in the
greater Wichita area. We also
provide meals to a homeless
shelter and are in partnership
with a shelter for children
and women. At Christmas
time, we share baskets in the
Kechi area and with persons to
which our members are in
ministry. If you are
aware of someone who is need
of a Christmas basket of
goodies, please contact the
church.
